MARYANN RIDINI

writers lifelineAs President of Ridini Entertainment Corporation, Maryann Ridini develops and oversees all public relations and production activities, personally attending to each client and project.

Ridini's credits in public relations and film and television production are numerous. Her entire career has balanced these two specialized fields. In order to actively continue in both arenas, Ridini formed Ridini & Associates Public Relations in 1990 and then incorporated as Ridini Entertainment Corporation (REC) in 1994.

As a producer/writer/director, Ridini worked for three years at Cable News Network's Los Angeles Bureau covering entertainment on location in Hollywood and producing the legendary "People Now" and "The Mike Douglas Show."

Later, Ridini became a senior producer on the "Alive & Well" series for Dave Bell Productions and Lifetime Television. She also worked as a freelance news producer for Metromedia.

Most recently, Ridini executive produced such projects as the award-winning "Falling Fire" (The Movie Channel, 1998), "Future Fear" (Showtime Networks, 1999), "Convict 762" (The Sci-Fi Channel, 1998) and "Shepherd" (Showtime Networks, 1999). All films were also distributed as theatricals internationally.

In New York, at advertising agencies McCaffrey & McCall, and Humphrey, Browning, MacDougall, Ridini served as an assistant commercial producer and casting director on such accounts as Parker Brothers, Evan Piccone, Mercedes, and Exxon.

Ridini began her entertainment career at twelve, acting and serving as an apprentice in theatre productions in Equity and Non-Equity Theatres. She has also written for such publications as Los Angeles Magazine, California Magazine, and Soap Opera Digest.
